WTN: Six Old Siduri PinotNoirs....(short/boring)

Drilled down into this box of Siduri Pinots last night:
1. Siduri PinotNoir ChehalemMtns/WillametteVlly/OR (13.0%) 2007: Loud pop on opening screwtop; med.light color w/ some browning; rather tired/oldRed/cedary/pencilly little fruit nose; soft rather cedary/pencilly/oldRed fairly tired flavor w/ light gentle tannins; very little fruit left & pretty tired but not totally gone. $23.00

2. Siduri PinotNoir AbreVertVnyd/WillametteVlly/OR (13.0%; 173 cs) 2007: Med.light bit murky/brown color; rather cedary/pencilly/oldRed no fruit quite tired nose; soft cedary/oldRed quite tired no fruit flavor w/ light tired tannins; even more tired & pretty much gone. $25.50

Siduri PinotNoir KeeferRanch/RRV (14.1%) 2006: Light some browning color; interesting cedary/pencilly/oldRed some smokey/Siduri oak light PN fruit some complex nose; lightly tart rather cedary/pencilly/oldRed some Siduri oak slightly tired bit complex flavor w/ light gentle tannins; only slightly tired but still clinging to life. $39.50

Siduri PinotNoir Garys'Vnyd/SantaLuciaHighlands (14.1%) 2008: Med.dark some browning color; some PN/cherry/grapefruity/bit herbal light earthy/dusty light Siduri/oak some complex nose but not at all tired; lightly tart light cherry/black cherry/PN/bit herbal quite smooth light Siduri/oak/smokey fairly complex fully mature PN flavor w/ light gentle tannins; a fully mature PN & then some but still offers up some gentle/mature pleasure. $37.50

Siduri PinotNoir PisoniVnyd/SantaLuciaHighlands (14.7%; 250 cs) 2008: Med.dark color w/ some browning; some Siduri/smokey/oak some black cherry/PN/bit herbal mature/Burgundian slight cedary/pencilly fairly complex fully mature attractive nose; fairly tart/tangy some smokey/Siduri oak some black cherry/PN/black cherry cola smooth/velvety fully mature complex flavor w/ light smooth tannins; a rather attractive fully-mature somewhat Burgundian PN. $41.00

Siduri PinotNoir ClosPepeVnyd/StaRitaHills (14.1%) 2008: Med.color w/ some browning; very attractive cherry/black cherry/PN/black cherry cola some Siduri/smokey/Fr.oak quite complex fully mature nose; rather tart/tangy strong black cherry/black cherry cola/PN some smokey/Siduri oak rather smooth/silky/gentle fully mature complex slight Burgundian flavor w/ light smooth tannins; a lovely fully mature bit Burgundian complex PN that still offers up a lot of pleasure; a lovely PN and the best of this lot. $37.50

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I didn't expect a whole lot from these Pinots, but some of them delivered more than I would expect from them. They were all left out on the counter last night & by the time I was ready for my breakfast wine, they had all turned an ugly/murky brown color and were pretty much dead & gone.

Hmm…I guess I am not surprised that Pisoni and Clos Pepe would do reasonably well.
