Tahbilk Marsanne.

TN: 2007 Tahbilk Marsanne Museum Release Central Victoria.

Guess one of the most collectable whites from Tahbilk. 13% alc, $26 Cdn, cellared a few years, SC. Rich golden color in the glass, sweet honey on the nose, pear, floral, some pineapple. No downhill signs on entry, nutty, more pear, excellent acidity, lime. "Vibrant citrussy acidity and honeyed" from across the table, baked apple, toasted almonds. Whats not to dislike here.


I am about to open a 2010 regular Marsanne, expect a wonderful wine. There seems t o be quite a few Tahbilk fans here, doing a search.

Great wines, indeed! Used to buy occasionally but haven't seen any in years. Quality Aussie wines just aren't around much these days.

Roger, Bob....those Tabhilk Marsannes are terrific & age especially well. Wish they were more available.
