Lockdown Wine #125. From Ribera del Duero and 100% Graciano. Inky. Medium weight. A bit woody, slightly musty. Black berries, a very slight green and stalky note. Though young, surprisingly little tannin. Nicely balanced. 14% alcohol but no heat. An obvious acidity comes in at the end. Good length. Not a lot of complexity, but an enjoyable wine. Perhaps has a bit of upside, but a good drink now. Pop and pour is fine. Somewhat Beaujolais-ish.

Goyo Garcia Viadero farms organically and does not use any sulphur. The Georgieva in the name of the wine is his wife - Diana Semova Gerogieva.
