WTN: Kutch me if you can

  My last bottle, but at least the last bottle was memorable. When I opened it at 5 PM it immediately showed an enthralling aromatic blend of freshly turned earth, green tobacco, flowers and red fruit. The palate was a little bit behind, as it initially seemed a bit hollow/one-dimensional. Another hour later it was all systems go, as the wine picked up depth on the palate, and the aromatics became even more pronounced. Structurally balanced, it just kept powering through, managing to convey complexity with power, yet never being heavy. It was really quite a feat, and a heck of a payoff for a $35 wine!
