Linda brought this to share at our tasting at Pig+Fig on Wed:
1. Lindemans Griffith-Padthaway Botrytis Semillon (10.0%) 1988: Very dark rather PX color; very intense botrytis/apricotty/ripe peach slight earthy rather complex beautiful nose; very intense botrytis/peachy/apricotty very sweet slight earthy some toasty/Fr.oak rather complex flavor; very long/lingering bit soft very sweet intense botrytis/apricotty/peachy some toasty/caramel/butterscotch/Fr.oak complex finish; a lovely classic intense Oz Semillon dominated by the botrytis to the extent of most everything else; should go out another 20 yrs.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This wine was pretty much where I expected it to be. Totally dominated by the botrytis. Would not be mistaken for or showing the complexity of an old Fr. Sauternes. I suspect this was a fairly cheap wine, less than $20.
