2019 Elyse Chardonnay - USA, California, Sonoma County (6/25/2022)
Based on my prior history drinking some Bevan Cellars Chardonnays, this was exactly what I was expecting from an Elyse Chardonnay made by Russell Bevan. Full bodied, spicy, toasty with touches of ripe pineapple fruit, it was the voluptuous style. Not really my thing at all, but it was a hit with our friends who prefer the more over the top Chardonnay cocktail style.

Well yeah, but we have a close friend who really enjoys the style. Useful to have a couple around.
