We tried these over the weekend:
1. RuthLewandowski Rose American Wine (11.8%; www.RuthLewandowski.com; TourigaNational/Souzao/TintaRoriz) EvanLewandowski/Geyserville2021: Light garnet/light browning rather hazy/cloudy color; rather earthy/dusty little fruit some unclean/rather natty slight cranberry/herbal rather unattractive nose; very highly acid/tangy/metallic rather mousey/natty/unclean slight cranberry rather earthy/dusty hurtey/painful savory/saline flavor w/ light bitey tannins; med.short very high acidity/metallic/tangy some earthy/loamy little fruit rather natty/mousey/unclean savory finish w/ light bitey tannins; a dreadful example of a rose; much to natty for my tasted; hurts to drink this wine. $26.00 (KK)

More bileyspew from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. EvanLewandowski is a natural winemaker. He works & shares space with Sam Bilbro/Idlewild. He's heavily involved w/ the 2 vnyd operations Sam draws from. He started making his wine in Utah from mostly Calif grapes, hence the American Wine dsignation. I think he now makes his wines in Geyserville, so not sure why he continues that designation. The Ruth comes from the Book of Ruth in the Bible relating to death.

2. TJ's Pinot: Doing a little bottom feeding at TJ's, so thought I'd give this a shot. Trevor's Precision Wine is a large producer that makes about 1/4'th million cases of wine a yr. Some of it is a bit high end but mostly I gather is bulk wine purchases for TJ's/TotalWines/Costco.

I don't get Ruth Lewandowski wines. I'm 0 for 3.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

The Annia is my preferred of the two main blended Massican wines. I rarely age it much, as it’s a lot of fun to drink young.
