A heartening article in the South African Wine News for Pinotage fans. There has been some debate in recent times about whether Cape blends and top SA reds in general should include South Africa's own grape, Pinotage, or not. Of course I am a total Pinotage devotee and agree that it should be present, and that its varietal wines should continue to be championed as well.
