GrapeCollective: Ivana Radikon Interview

by TomHill » Thu Jul 14, 2022 1:57 pm

An article today in Grape Collective by ChristopherBarnes of an interview w/ Ivana Radikon:
https://grapecollective.com/articles/ivana-radikon-friuli-collio-and-the-orange-wine-revolution

A few interesting tidbits in there but not highly informative. I had always thought Radikon was following the model of
Georgian skin-contact whites, but she pretty much dismisses that inspiration for their Vini Macerati. And she seems
to minimize the association of their wines w/ the natural wine movement.
A recent Radikon Rosso (Merlot/Pignolo blend) was one of the most flawed wines I've ever had with a VA over twice
the legal limit.
