With pork verde made with fresh Hatch chiles last night:

2019 Le Vieux Pin Ava Okanagan Valley VQA White Rhone Blend
Pale, attractive floral nose, viognier-dominant not just in percentage but presentation, clean finish.

2021 Le Vieux Pin Ava Okanagan Valley VQA White Rhone Blend
Best Ava yet, for once roussanne-dominant not viognier. Light, sunny yellow, nose of stone fruit and flowers, stone fruit and fresh corn on the palate. Good body and concentration. Price is up over $10 from the '19 above, but well worth it.

Roussanne is the only Rhône white that I ever really love.

I'm pretty much right there with you. Something interesting about the grape is that new world versions can be as good as old world versions, unlike Albarino as we discussed in another thread. And I really don't care for viognier.
