2018 Lail Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Blueprint Yountville
First experience with this wine. Apparently made by Philippe Melka, a blend of french oak and stainless steel fermentations. The last CT reviewer captured it well with "clean, pure, good intensity of fruit - almonds and lemon. High acidity, quite unctuous". Though last year some found grapefruit, at this point we did not. Closer to yellow plum. Sophisticated, not tropical. A stunner.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
