2020 Bedrock Wine Co. Zinfandel Teldeschi - USA, California, Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley (9/6/2022)
More straightforward/direct than the usual Lorenzo’s Heritage, but still evokes that Dry Creek feel. More structural and mineral, rather than just boisterously fruity, it is a better wine at the dinner table, if less fun for just drinking. I sort of like the idea that this version alternates with the Lorenzo’s, as it would be very useful to have a stash of this version around. It has a distinct resemblance to the old Ravenswood Teldeschi wines.
