Tried this w/ Susan Fri night:
1. OjaiVnyd Ojai Red Calif TW (13.5%) Helen&Adam Tolmach/Oakville NV: Med.dark color; strong blackberry/Syrah/boysenberry bit peppery bit PN/black cherry light toasty/oak quite fragrant nose; lightly tart strong blackberry/boysenberry/black cherry PN/Syrah bit rustic light toasty/oak flavor w/ light rough tannins w/ a slight bitterness; very long strong blackberry/Syrah/ripe/peppery bit black cherry/PN finish w/ light rough tannins; a bit rustic red that speaks mostly of Syrah; a steal at $25.00/$17.50

More bifferslob from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. This is the current release from Ojai of their Red TW. This is usually a blend of whatever is left over in the tank after racking off the lees when they bottle their reds. Usually it is mostly PinotNoir & Syrah. The lees are then given a light filteration, bttld up as Ojai Red (or White), and pushed out the door for a song. It is almost always a very good value and can even age for several yrs. This latest Ojai Red is particularly good.
