...was right.

2018 Furthermore Pinot Noir Sierra Mar Vineyard Santa Lucia Highlands
Bought at the tasting room in Sonoma last April, where I was slightly suspicious that I was overly influenced by this wine's flashy sweetness which, in the long run, would not be to my tastes. Opened it last night, and sho' nuf. Went well with pork riblets in black bean sauce I served which needed a strong partner, but the kirsch-y ripeness with hints of iodine and bay leaf and confected finish are really not in my wheelhouse.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
