WTN: An Arneis/Gruner Over the Weekend....(short/boring)

Susan & I tried these two whites this weekend:
1. Cantina Ca'Rossa Merica Dd'OC: Roero Arneis (13%; 100% Arneis; RibeviWinesIntl/LaMesa/CA) Cascina Ca'Rossa di Ferrio Angelo/Canale 2020: Light yellow color; light floral/Arneis/carnations light earthy/chalky rather dull/vapid slight herbal/weedy nose; lightly tart/metallic very light Arneis/flral slight chalkky/earthy rather light vapid/watery flavor; short very light Arneis/floral bit earthy/metallic very vapid/watery finish; maybe the dullest most vapid Arneis that I've ever tasted; truly an Oakland wine; avoid at all costs. $20.00 (KK)

2. MartinWoods GrunerVeltliner HavelinVnyd/VanDuzerCorridor/WillametteVlly (12.1%;Hrvstd: Oct 11/2019; Bttld: U/July 15/2021) MartinWoods/McMinnville/OR 2019: Med.gold color; some fragrant/GV/white pepper/bit floral fairly stony/earthy/chalky/mineral bit complex some attractive nose; fairly tart/tangy attractive quiet/GV/floral/white pepper bit austere/savory some chalky/mineral/stony pleasant flavor; very long fairly tart rather stony/mineral/chalky rather savory/saline quiet/floral/GV/white pepper finish; not the effusive GV fruit you find in a Carlisle & rather on the savory/chalky/mineral side but a pleasant enough expression of GV, but just that; rather lacking in GV fruit. $35.00 (SFW&S)

1. I've generally like the MartinWoods wines in the past. Nothing profound, but good/solid OR wines, both whites & reds. I was a bit disappointed by this Gruner & would have liked more fruit. It may develop into something interesting, but I have my doubts.
