We tried these two at Pig+Fig last Wed:
1. Carlisle Zin ManciniRanch/RRV/SonomaCnty (15.0%; Plntd: 1922; + Carignane/PS/Abouriou/GrandNoir; 330 cs; U/U; Drk: 2020-2029) 2016: Dark color w/ slight bricking; strong RRV/peppery blackberry/raspberry/Zin/spicy some pencilly/oak bit complex somewhat simpler vey attractive nose; fairly tart/tangy spicy/blackberry/raspberry some simpler flavor w/ light tangy tannins; very long spicy/blackberry/raspberry some tart/tangy light pencilly/oak bit complex finish w/ light tangy tannins; a brighter lighter/simpler/leaner & probably near its peak; a pleasant Zin on the tart/tangy/lean side. $39.00

More deezersplot from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. The Mancini Ranch is right in the heart of all the OV RRV Zin vnyds. It is farmed by Max Reichwage, who also makes wines under his own label. The Carlisle Mancini always seems to have a leaner profile than Mike's other RRV Zins....almost more DryCreekVlly in character. But I've always liked Mike's Mancini Zins for their leaner profile.
