Last night with corned beef, mustard-tarragon potatoes and wilted cabbage:

2017 Idlewild Nebbiolo Fox Hill Vineyard Mendocino County
Much softer than expected, and more monotone. Tannins clamped down by the end of the bottle. Not exactly what I expected. The $12 Cotes du Rhone that followed it was much more interesting.

2019 Château Mont Thabor Côtes du Rhône
Six months of additional aging have been good to this wine, though last September I didn't think it needed any improvement. Light and bright grenache flavors, very peppery, good spice.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
