Had this white w/ Susan this weekend:
1. Corte Gardoni Greoto DOC: Custoza (12.5%; KermitLynch/Berkeley; EB; 40% Garganega/25% Trebbiano/10% Terbbianello/10% Cortese/15% other) Corte Gardoni di Piccoli/Valeggio sul Mincio/Veneto 2019: Light gold color; quite fragrant carnations/gardenias/floral/spicy/slight hollyhocks light perfumed talc quite attractive nose some like Fiano, a bit like R; fairly tart/tangy quite floral/gardenias/carnations some perfumed talc slightly spicy totally dry light-bodied quite attractive flavor; very long/lingering quite floral/perfumed floral/carnations/gardenias finish; a really lovely/easy-drinking white at a great price point. $14.00 (KK)

More barnellskrick from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. The Veneto is one of my least interesting regions in Italy. It makes tons of very pedestrian wines, both white & red. So I cracked this wine w/ very low expectations. Whatta surprise this was. Not all that distinctive & not much terroir, but just a really lovely drinking white wine.
This producer makes mostly Bardolino. Don't know if I'm brave enough to try any of those or not, though.
I oftentimes find many of the KermitLynch selection wines a bit on the pricey side. But over the last few yrs, I've found Kermit's portfolio a very good place to go bottom feeding. This is one such discovery on my bottom feeding.
