2018 Broc Cellars Counoise Eaglepoint Ranch Mendocino
Slightly cloudy appearance, funky nose. Has the counoise spice but the fruit is lacking and overall, it's unpleasant. Bought three because I so loved the counoise made by two Washington wineries and at the time, Brian Miller and perhaps Tom Hill spoke well of this winery. But I can't join that chorus: the first bottle was screechy, this is no good, and I'll probably dump the third because I have no confidence that there's anything there to look forward to.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Clay Brockway is a natural winemaker. Generally his wines are pretty clean for a natural wine. I don't recall having had this wine but it sounds like it has gone South.
