Leon Beyer Comtes d'Eguisheim Tokay Pinot Gris 1997 - Deep straw/gold. Ripe, sweet, floral aroma. Ripe peach and lychee on the palate with just a touch of residual sugar. Well balanced. Long, drying finish with a citrus note. Drinking very well now and probably at peak. I have to get more of this.

Leon Beyer Comtes d'Eguisheim Riesling 1997 - Lots of melon on the nose. On the palate, hollow, lacking flavor. The fruit is nearly gone. This wine seems to be on the decline. A disappointment after the very good Pinot Gris.

I still have the Gewurztraminer of this line and I hope to try it over the weekend.
