WTN: Candidato Oro 2003 Tempranillo

by Bruce Hayes » Sun Apr 08, 2007 9:56 am

Bodegas Martinez Bujanda, Rioja. A blend of Tempranillo and Grenache.

Dark purple in the glass.

Light bodied, slightly sweet, cherry, strawberry, lightly floral, good acidity, quite refreshing.

I can see this wine working very well with a picnic or a summer lunch on the deck.

Very well priced at $8.15 (Canadian).
