Beautiful nose of dusty plum and red berry fruit. Almost gamay like. On the palate there is fresh berry fruit w/ hints of tobacco and anise. Medium to heavy bodied and dark purple in the glass. Very nice finish with characteristic dolcetto bitterness.
About $12.00...went wonderfully w/ sausage and peppers in a marinara sauce over fettucine. I'll certainly be buying more of this.
