Yesterday, I had the chance to sample the Malbec Acrux from O Fournier (around $47 Cdn). Terrific wine from a producer I am not familar with, any comments welcome Alej.

Hi Bob. This wine is made by the Spanish Bodega O. Fournier... they invested a nice amount of $$$ some 10+ years ago and make some very good wines. Apart from the Alpha Crux Malbec you have sampled, they also make two Tempranillo based blends, the A Crux Blend and the B Crux.

This producer is located in the Valle de Uco region, which is of higher altitude than the better known premiere zones e.g. Lujan de Cuyo.

Fournier also has a high end Syrah called O. Fournier Syrah which is quite unique for Argentina.
Alejandro Audisio - drink wines from the RIGHT side of the Andes!!!
