From Bodegas Nieto Senetiner. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Merlot. Mendoza.

Based on previous experience, this wine has been quite tight and ungiving, so I decanted about an hour before we ate.

Dark purple color.

Dark, bitter chocolate on the nose, along with good berry fruit and spice.

Still tight and quite drying, but rather rich and full, with some nice cherry and raspberry fruit, tobacco and black licorice.

The fruit grew a bit richer and fleshier toward the end of the decanter.

Drying finish.
