    deep, very youthful purple color tells me I opened this wine way too soon.

    There's espresso on the nose, and dark chocolate.
    In the mouth the wine is lighter in weight than the nose led me to expect - there's plenty of ripe, dark red berry fruit.....and heat. Very noticeable heat, which definitely detracts from my enjoyment of an otherwise pleasant wine.
    The wine clocks in at 15.3% alcohol, and it isn't hiding it well right now.
