WTN: Pierre Sparr Pinot Blanc Reserve 2005

by Bruce Hayes » Fri Jul 27, 2007 9:49 am

A huge nose of orange and flowers.

Bursting with fleshy-juicy orange, lemon, lime and grapefruit, very peppery, floral, rather viscous, honeyed, very spicy, with good cleansing acidity.

Rich, intense and delicious. A wine to get excited about.

Screwcap closure.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian).

Nice job Bruce. Alsatian Pimot Blancs are the awesome and you can get them pretty cheap. I love the fact that it's under screwtop as well.
