Seriously tasty...not one person pegged this as Chardonnay....very light in color, a light yellow sheen. Granny apple-ish on the palate, but very subtle. Clean and refreshing, with the kind of acid that doesn't pucker, but just lingers and toys with your tongue. Excellent. (91 pts.)

Good weekend for an SI white. I really like these wines have nice acidity but I can still enjoy them with out food. I find the very versatile.

Sipping several delicious Orvietos and Grecchettos this week. Will post some pics soon.

Indeed it is that.. and more...and no oak that I can detect...maybe Jason will chime in ...but if you haven't tried these, Paulo, this is a winery I think you would like.....

Sounds like you are enjoying Italy, amico!!! Look forward to your report.

No, unless you'd had the Freedom Hill without, which I believe I have in the past--Jason can correct me if I'm right in guessing that it hasn't always received that. It's just that the 05 FH was so much softer than I remembered it ever being before. Really tones down the bigness.
