Longing For Paris

by Daniel Rogov » Sun Sep 14, 2008 8:25 pm

Went to bed early tonight for a change, a luxurious feeling at times. Woke after about two hours of sleep after a dream that had me strolling on Paris' Rue St. Andre des Arts where I stopped to stare, like a little boy, into the window of a pastry shop (a real place, one I visit frequently), and so lusting after the pile of chocolate eclairs there. Woke, made my way to the refrigerator - not an eclair in sight. I did, however, settle for a generous chunk of 70% fat content Madagascar bitter-sweet chocolate.

Now, like Samuel Pepys, "and so to bed"

Now that's what you call having 'sweet dreams'!
I could do with a stroll in Paris right about now...and so to bed for me also and conjuring time.
