Suggestion for a culinary poll

by Shel T » Sun Nov 30, 2008 6:53 am

Daniel, how about a poll on your tolerance level for spicy food?
The reason for the suggestion is that I like hot/spicy food a lotand have been accused of hotting everything up even before tasting it. LOL, not true, I always taste before augmenting and then only when it's really too bland (for me) to enjoy, and would never do it at dinner parties!
Anyway, back to the 'hot' issue, yes I like it that way but truly believe I'm a piker compared to some I know and others I've observed that IMO went way overboard with hot sauces.
Simple maxim, heat is great, agony is not!
So would be curious to know how a group of people rate themselves in heat tolerance and not sure how you'd designate the catergories, maybe something like:
Iron throat
Very hot
Hot
Medium
Kinda mild
Mild
El wimpo
Or maybe it would be better with percentages. If you think this would be of some interest, please take it from here.

Shel, Hi.....

Great idea. I'll lock this now and put it up as a poll next week.

Thanks for the suggestion.
