Kitchenaid woes

by Larry Greenly » Fri Nov 24, 2006 4:38 pm

Yesterday I broke my old K-5A. I called Kitchenaid but the young gal said they don't repair mixers that date back to '73.

Can anyone recommend a repair center that can repair the motor? It only goes to speed 2 and no faster.

Larry, I'll check with the chef at work. I'm pretty sure she had the same model repaired (her personal mixer from home) a while ago in Albuquerque.

Kitchen Aid Mixers are made in my town...... Kitchen Aid has a nice store here and sells Refurb Kitchen Aid Mixers
- I bought ones years ago and have never had a problem with it.

Jan, welcome back!
