Looking for ideas

This is going to be the easiest round of "What can I make with this?" that we are ever going to play.

Ready?

I'm going to make a couple desserts soon -- pistachio gelato and chocolate-dipped coconut macaroons. Strangely, I am going to have a leftover pint of whole milk and two egg yolks.

Go.

I assume you're not limiting it to just those two ingredients, so that makes me first think of making more ice cream or maybe a frittata. Meat loaf also would put a dent in them although you might have to put some of the milk on cereal or in a glass.

Milk: combine with a can of tomatoes, butter, salt, sugar, pepper, tarragon and cook for an hour or so until it caramelizes and reduces into a delicious bisque. Egg yolks: add one more whole egg and a tablespoon of milk, and pan-fry into a hot flat disk, cut into strips and reserve for a fried rice later in the week. Or, how long as it been since you've made eggs foo yung?

Ooh, ooh... French toast. That sounds really good to me. I think I've got some Vermont syrup around here somewhere.

Tomato bisque! I've never made it from scratch before.

I've never really enjoyed egg foo yung so meh.

And I'd love to make moussaka but HWMBO doesn't eat eggplant. Maybe pasticchio?

Thanks, everyone.
