Why one should hire a native speaking translator.

I know it's cheap humor to laugh at copy from folks to whom English is not first language. But I'm a cheap kind of guy.
I got home from H-Mart (Korean superstore) Fri with some trout, oysters, kimchee, stewed tofu, rice vinegar, etc. But there was a bag containing Hosaku Crunch Crush Banana. I checked, not on my receipt. Assume it was previous customer in line, didn't get in her cart, bagger put in mine. I felt guilty, but not enough to drive back to Yonkers to return a $2 snack.
So the back label:

Who could resist that?
Served as a joke appetizer last night. One person called worst thing they ever tasted.
Though I don't eat sweets, texture and flavor reminded me of those vanilla sugar wafers
my grandmother always had, but with some banana extract. Others compared to stryofoam peanuts (with banana extract)

Ha! I stopped by a Korean market today and, among other things, picked up a package of Lotte Margaret cookies. The caption on the box is "Margaret cookie with parents' love. Feel this love with soft cookie."

Not as good as "make your bite feeling groovy" but it has the parental love thing going on...

A jar of hoisin sauce that I bought listed "monosodium grutamate" as one of the ingredients.
