Crisco has a most irritating web page. Over 100 images to be downloaded, and apparently their Javascript only works with Windows Internet Exploder. :evil:

By some creative cutting and pasting of URLs, I was able to access their press release. They say they've reformulated to eliminate trans fats, but they don't say how they do it.

Personally, I'm sticking with lard and butter until I get an explanation of this bit of black magic.

I do know that if there is less than 0.5 grams of trans-fat per serving, mfrs can say their product is trans-fat free. How Crisco does it, I have no clue.

Did you read that Mickey D's is finally getting rid of trans-fats?
