Has anyone ever made Pommes Dauphine? I saw it in an Instagram pic posted by Patricia Wells... looked it up and sounds like a bit of a hassle to make but could be Delish.... any one know the real deal?

I thought of Dauphinoise potatoes, I had to look up Dauphine...

By goodness, what a faff.

Never had them and I'm not tempted either by deep fried mashed potatoes, pastry, butter and egg as it seems rather calorific... :o

The recipe I'm looking at says Prep:25min › Cook:10min › Ready in:35min.. Hmmm, it'd take me much longer

French Tater Tots!

Looks delicious, but seems like an awful lot of work.

I saw her post too, with roast chicken I believe at a restaurant she called her favorite neighborhood spot. Thought to myself that I've wasted my life not living in places with neighborhood spots like hers!
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov
