Karashi Course

by Bill Spohn » Fri Jul 23, 2021 8:30 pm

I was making some appetizers for a Champagne tasting and one of the elements in the dish I wanted to make was Karashi mustard, a Japanese condiment. Looked everywhere before finally finding some. It is brown mustard and horseradish.

Finally located some and made a raw tuna dish with it. Excellent. Worth looking out for - gives heat plus complexity.

I'll bet I'd like that mustard, but so far as I know I haven't had it. They do look beautiful. Kudos!
