That's something to be washed down with a V-8/Zinfandel cooler ... and don't skimp on the Tabasco sauce!!

I'd eat something like that without a problem.

Hmm. Kinda sorta like a multi-layered vertical Shepherd's Pie idea. I don't think it's that off-putting actually. But I'd change the ketchup to a chile colorado.

Fabulous idea! I made a meatloaf like that once only in a loaf pan, topped with mashed spuds. It was yummy.

I like the basic idea, Robin. Probably wouldn't make it a cake, but a layer of meat loaf, a layer of mashed, a layer of meat loaf and another layer of mashed -- seems like a very nice presentation.

It does appeal to the meat eater in me. Thanks.

I think that is a really neat idea! I especially like the last one made with turkey and stuffing...(however, I might have frosted it with sweet potatoes instead!) Creative!

I don't like it... and I'll tell you why.....

It looks GIRLY!!!! The mashed potatoes should be darkened with tomato paste, and the shape of the cake should be of a big hunk of meat..... Then I'll consider eating it!

I'm not sure whether I think that was awful, creative, or awfully creative!

Sort of an inverted Shepherds Pie. I'd eat it if someone served it...but I wouldn't go to the trouble of making it.
