40% Blaufraenkisch
35% Zweigelt
15% Cabernet
10% Merlot
-12 Months in French Oak

Bright red fruit -like bing cherry, raspberry liquorice, tart cranberry and johannesbeeren fruit. a little rose garden and potpourri intermingled with clove and coffee. Medium bodied, with a very "Beaune"ish mouthfeel (if not a bit more rustic) and excellent acidity. The tannins are demure and European (not Spanish though :P). The oak is well (and gently) used. I fully expect this wine to be enjoyable for the next few years, despite its lack of Body and power. I was sold on the first sip. I love wines like this -very giving, but a little unrefined. Like bringing a stripper to the library. A great value at $18

Prost!

Mmm. So the wine was the stripper and your palate was the library.

Mmm...
