2005 J. C. Pichot Vouvray Domaine Le Peu de la Moriette - France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Vouvray (11/11/2006)
What a difference a day makes. This was so much better than day one. The sweetness receded and the acidity became more noticeable. Nice lemony citrus flavors. Texture was smooth making this even more quaffable. Just a nice package of a wine. Always a great qpr in good years. Glad I have more. Is this considered the domaines Sec? I know they produce a Molleaux. CT also lists a Vouvray with "Domaine Le Peu de la Moriette" on the label and one without. Are these different or the samething? I've only seen labels with "Domaine Le Peu de la Moriette".

Gregg,

I don't know most of the answers to your questions, but Pichot does produce a sec -- "Domaine Coteau de la Biche" -- and I'm pretty sure the "Domaine Le Peu de la Moriette" is a demi-sec.
