Guess I just picked ~$25-$30 worth from the garden this morning at that tariff. Now what the hell do I do with all those sweet banana peppers? I fry them, I grill them, I stuff them, I freeze them and I give them away to the point neighbors run and hide when I come to their door. I guess that next year I don't really need 10 plants for the two of us.![]()

We don't have a whole lot of tomatoes yet here in MA, but I've been getting a lot of other stuff. The tomato guys have promised me some really nice heirlooms soon. We do have some tomatoes, like Better Boys and such, but I'm waiting for the good ones like German Pink, Zebra, Costoluto Genovese, etc.

Funny, the Island I was on was only about 20 miles west of where I live and at about the same latitude, but we're not even close to getting tomatoes.
