A new winery?

by YoelA » Sun Oct 02, 2011 2:39 am

Have read that they are now making wine at Bat Shlomo. Last tine I was there they had great olives, hummus, labaneh and cheese but no wine. Has anyone had any of this?

I'm about five minutes out from Bat Shlomo and I haven't heard a thing - so if they are, they've done little to get word out. Let me know if you unearth any details...

They are making wine there. My wife just returned from Israel where she received a bottle as a gift. Sauvignon blanc.

It's been a while since this thread.

I just got a phone call from a former neighbor who tells me she works at Bat Shlomo winery and wanted to sell me some wine.

I am reluctant to buy anything over the phone - certainly a wine that neither I nor anyone whose opinion I value has ever tasted.

Has anyone here tasted a Bat Shlomo wine yet?
