Spotted in Lewiston, Idaho, yesterday: The Tomato Bros. Italian Restaurant. Now what could be more non-threatening to someone who pronounces Italian "eye-talian"? :)

Must be a regional thing...I hear "eye-talian" all the time, I even say it now and then, even though I do know how to say it correctly. Maybe eye-talian just slides off the tongue easier! :wink:

In Maine they call subs "Italians." Also in Greenville ME there is a Road Kill Cafe.
