WTN: Brun Terre Dorres Beaujolais Blanc

by Jenise » Wed Nov 14, 2012 9:23 pm

Wow was this different from any previous Brun Blanc (Chardonnay) I've had. First of all, color. Bright, extracted yellow. Overtly mineral nose with a palate that has the richness you expect from the color but none of the sweet fruit And not much acidity either. Tannins keep it from feeling flat, but its rather austere for a wine that looks so ripe.
