Susan & I tried w/ dinner Sat night:
1. KendricVnyds PinotNoir MarinCnty (13.9%; www.KendricVineyards.com; 3'rd vintage; 375 cs) 2006: Med.light color w/ some bricking; elegant/delicate cherry/black cherry cola/PN fairly spicy light pencilly/oak bit earthy rather low key/complex/mature Pinot nose; very tart rather lean delicate/smooth/quiet light cherry/black cherry cola/PN light pencilly/oak flavor; med.long tart/lean smoothe/elegant/delicate light cherry/black cherry/cola/PN slight sour cherry light pencilly/oak finish w/ little tannins; a quiet/elegant/delicate Pinot understated wine that's probably not going to get better; very pretty/drinkable/mature Pinot.

OliverLeflaive AC: Bourgogne Aligote (12%) 2010: Pale yellow color; some flinty/mineral/stony slight grapefruity/tangy bit simple nose; very lemony/grapefruity some flinty/mineral/chalky/stony lean/austere almost vapid flavor; med.short lean/austere some lemony/grapefruity mostly chalky/mineral/stony/flinty lightweight finish; a lean/mineral/austere almost vapid Aligote w/o a lot going on except terroir. $23.00
