Yes... Thought the Red Moscato by Tepperberg was SOLID and fun... Better than white as well....

For those not minding the Mevushal it will be a hit for Purim and Pesach!!

Gamla being Royal's private label only marketed in the States I've not tasted it. Wonder if it's similar to the GHW Golan Moscato which is usually pretty solid though some vintages have been way too sweet for my palate.

Yosh, the fact that the Teperberg Moscato is Mevushal is not so relevant given the short life of such wine anyway (there are some exceptions, I had a 2008 Binyamina Teva Moscato a few months ago that was fine). Don't forget that Moscato can hardly be considered as "wine" anyway...

Yehoshua - The brand name is Lewis Pasco, but the wine's name is "The Pasco Project #1"... Even I don't have the gall to call the wine "Lewis Pasco #1".

:D Left the winery on Thursday...

I don't want you to get a big head, but I tasted the new Lewis Pasco today, and it's great. A young wine, ready to drink, big, chewy, and delicious. It'll only get better. But, I'm not waiting. I hate delayed gratification.

Hey I already HAVE a big head so no worries...

Oscar Petersen, the legendary jazz pianist, once said (in a PBS interview very late in his life), in response to the question of whether or not he was aware of his legendary status and influence on jazz musicians of all sorts: (chuckling) "Of course I am! Anyone who is any good at anything is aware of how good they are. If they didn't know that, they wouldn't be any good in the first place!"

Not to compare myself to Oscar Petersen, exactly...

I picked up a bottle at Skyview last week and had it Fri. night. I was not impressed, esp. since the Weiss Bros.' name is on the label. I found it overly fruity, flabby and more grape juice than wine. Just one man's opinion. For the money, I'd much rather have Peraj Petita.

Shiloh Legend II: year? the mevushal or regular?

Dalton Alma: There are 5 of these: The Bordeaux blend (CabSav-CF-Merlot), the SMW Rhône blend(Shiraz-Mourvèdre-Viognier), the GSM Rhône blend(Grenache-Syrah-Mourvèdre), the CabSav-Shiraz Aussie blend and the white (Chardonnay-Viognier). All 4 are good to very good year in year out, solid QPR, the 2012 GSM and CabSav-Shiraz being the newbies, tasted them last week and enjoyed them very much, especially the GSM.

Tasted it a few weeks ago and did enjoy it, given some air it showcases very interesting characteristics and fruit flavors. As a mevushal wine I think it's solid but otherwise for the price I'd also rather spend a few more bucks and get the Peraj Petita instead.

Aside from some online retailers—who don't have any pictures or info and say the wine is a 2010—the only info I found is here: http://yossiswinepage.wordpress.com/2013/05/29/tel-aviv-wine-fair-2013-at-the-eretz-israel-museum/ (Search on the page, it's near the bottom.)
It seems like it's a blend of Cab, Carignan, and Sangiovese from 2011.

About the Almas: You wrote "There are 5 of these" and "All 4 are good to very good". Is one not good? The white maybe?
