Tried last night:
1. OjaiVnyd Chard SolomonHillsVnyd/SantaMariaVlly (14.0%) 2007: Med.gold color; strong ripe/melony/honeydew/Chard very light pencilly/oak/smokey light earthy/chalky some mature Chard very attractive nose; rather tart/appley strong pear/melon/honeydew/Chard/spicy light smokey/pencilly/oak/nutmeg light chalky/earthy balanced/smooth/textured lovely flavor; very long ripe/apple/melony/honeydew/Chard/spicy light earthy/chalky light pencilly/toasty/oak/nutmeg textured/balanced finish; an altogether lovely great-drinking Chard that can still go another 2-5 yrs; this would be a lovely Chard for the IPoB crowd but for the 14%. $26.00

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. AdamTolmach doesn't get a lot of recognition for his whites, especially the Chard and SauvBlanc and Riesling. This '07 was made when he was starting his trannsition to a leaner/less alcoholic version of Chard. Quite a lovely wine.
