Inglenook Napa Valley Rubicon 2009
96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc, 1 % Merlot. 17 months in French oak. Wine maker Stephane Derenoncourt.

I have had countless bottles of California wine and truly can say this is an exceptional example of the best that California can offer.
The deep purple color with a nose expressing blackcurrant, berries, cherries and spice is followed by an opulent mouthful of balanced and complex flavor with a long powerful and elegant finish.
The wine was decanted for 4 hours prior to consumption.

This wine would cellar forever but I am not a collector, I am a consumer so my bottles will be enjoyed while they are relatively young.
Highly recommended to all.
:D :D :D
Thanks,
Mike
