Tried this last night w/ polenta/beef confit torta:
1. JCCllrs Landy PetiteSirah SweetwaterSpringsVnyd/RRV (15.5%) JeffCohn/Oakland 2010: Black/black color; very strong/intense boysenberry/blackberry/PS/huge fruit light earthy/peppery some toasty/charred/oak nose; quite soft/fat intense boysenberry/blackberry/PS slight peppery/blueberry some toasty/charred/oak bit tannic/hard flavor; med.long soft/fat/porky intense boysenberry/blackberry/PS/blueberry slight peppery some toasty/charred/oak finish w/ some hard/bitey tannins; loads of huge PS fruit and carries the alcohol well but a bit lacking in structure and on the soft side. $36.00
