This note is from the WTSO (wines Till Sold Out), for what it's worth but that may be where you aquired the wine. Burgess has been around a long time and do pretty well with their red line up. I have had a few really nice cabs. from them. Did you check out Cellar Tracker for other opinions?

This is a Cabernet Lover’s Merlot! Rich and Intense, this Wine is Overflowing with Fresh Black Cherries, Blueberries and Soft, Supple Tannins!

90 Points - Wine Review Online!
"Rich and deeply flavored but not over-ripe or over-worked, it shows very nice aromas and flavors of black plums and dark berries, with subtle oak lending a bit of spice around the edges."

Not a single comment on CellarTracker, which is mildly surprising.

Thanks for the responses; I was hoping someone on the Forum had actually tried it! Yes, I did pick it up on WTSO; am just now starting to try to replenish my wine closet with stuff that's pretty ready to drink. I'm getting to the age where "lay down for about 20 years" is scary...I want to be around to taste it, and also be ABLE to taste it!

I know the feeling. I'm in the same boat!
