Remember that limited production is relative. I never made less than 3000 cases of any lot or vintage of Cab before (my 1997 was a 5000 case lot, my '86 was 3300). I made 990 cases of the 2010 Agua Dulce. I never made less than 1000 cases of anything else, usually multiples of that. I made 410 cases of 2010 Zin and 370 cases of 2010 Syrah. From my perspective, these are extremely limited quantities. But they are copious compared to Shirah, for instance. Since I am hardly selling them (so far we have 3 outlets, and that's all I anticipate before the chagim), I would expect to have them for Pesach of next year, unless they really take off. I hope they take off. But realistically, most people make their purchases for Pesach. I know it would sell in the nonkosher tasting room at the winery, and it is all I can do to keep it out of their hands, and going to those people who can most benefit from them. Otherwise, I'd be sold out for Christmas.
