MoCool 2013 Michigan riesling tasting with John Trombley

by Tom N. » Fri Aug 02, 2013 4:40 pm

For all MoCoolers, John Trombley will be hosting a Michigan riesling tasting at the Best Western on Saturday morning. Here are the details:

Parallel tasting of Michigan Rieslings and other varieties from the Old Mission Peninsula, being held at 11 am at Best Western Whitmore Lake, MI on Saturday 8/17.

There will be a dozen or more wines.

There is a reasonable charge because some good food is being provided.

BYOG! (Bring Your Own Glasses)

Of course we would be delighted to welcome you, or others in your party. Please let me (John Trombley) know by email, rieslingrat@aol.com
or otherwise phone (Home phone 937 773 2746; cell phone 937 418 9063; car phone 937 570 1826 that weekend).

Sorry to miss this -- will be helping with final set-up on Saturday morning (after likely sleeping in a smidge from Friday!).

I would be very interested in any notes from folks who attended this tasting. I know there were wines there from Left Foot Charley and I know Bryan would like to know how they showed. And I was wondering... did he send a Kerner? I delivered the wines for him but didn't look in the box.
Cheers, Gary

I have posted notes on this tasting and some photos in a separate thread.

Kerner doesn't ring a bell.
